Licensed School Psychologist Nationally Certified School Psychologist
I specialize in conducting psychological, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational evaluations for children and adolescents. I often work with families who are looking for answers to a wide range of academic, socioemotional, and/or behavioral difficulties. I have extensive experience assessing cognitive impairments, including specific learning disabilities, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as mood disorders, anxiety, and behavior disorders. My work has focused on conducting comprehensive, individualized assessments in order to understand an individual’s personal strengths and challenges and to offer specific recommendations for treatment.
I am highly experienced as a school psychologist, having worked with individuals from preschool through college age. I am well versed in educational procedures and policies, and enjoy assisting families navigate the special education process, which can be quite daunting. I aim to bridge the gap between families and schools to provide children with the most appropriate treatment across settings with respect and consideration for all parties.
In addition to assessments, I also have expertise in suicide prevention and intervention. I am a longstanding member of the American Association of Suicidology and am certified through that organization as a Certified School Suicide Prevention Specialist.
