Licensed Clinical Social Worker
For more than 20 years I’ve helped teens and adults navigate anxiety, depression, and trauma in healthy and productive ways. I bring an understanding of behavior, relationships, and adversity and how they can play out in negative ways in everyday life. I love working with couples to help them find a way to improve communication and strengthen their bond. Together we work towards moving forward together or kindly apart. I bring 25 years of working with the GLBTQI+ community helping folks celebrate who they are while at the same time acknowledging the stress and unique family factors this amazing community deals with on a daily basis.
In addition to being a LCSW, I am a registered yoga/meditation teacher who believes in holistic care, focusing on body, mind, and soul balance. I honor each person as an individual and have never subscribed to a one style fits all approach. I utilize a solution focused, strength driven, and evidence based cognitive behavior therapy to help folks identify and process feelings while uncovering positive coping techniques. I offer walk/talk therapy for people interested in light movement while processing. Teletherapy is also available to support your health or scheduling needs.
