Leah Abramoff, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I specialize in working with children and their parents to improve coping skills and healthy behaviors at home and school. I am highly experienced in providing support within the school system and work with students experiencing various challenges. I work with children in the school setting and am able to provide guidance regarding Individual Education, 504, and Behavioral Intervention Plans. I’ve helped many families navigate anger management, behavioral problems, anxiety, depression, and challenges associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I make it a priority to build trust with each child so that we can openly explore how to create healthier habits and attitudes. Additionally, parents and their children learn to navigate stressors, implement better boundaries and improve communication.
I assist parents in improving their child’s motivation to invest in their own wellbeing. When a child is motivated to change their own behaviors and habits, children and families begin the work together to develop new, healthier patterns.
