Hi all,

I wanted to provide some additional details about what I typically evaluate for.  I’m a licensed school psychologist and can provide both DSM-5 diagnoses as well as IDEA (educational) diagnoses for children and teens.  Some common things I can evaluate for include:
Learning Disabilities
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD)
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Mood Disorders i.e., Depression, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD)
Anxiety Disorders i.e., Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Intellectual Disabilities
Behavior Disorders i.e., Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
Trauma-related Disorders i.e, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Gifted Assessments for Sarasota, Charlotte and Manatee County gifted services (See our Gifted Evaluations Part 1 Blog for Additional Gifted Testing Info )
I also do neuropsychological assessment for more process-oriented referral questions (Understanding WHY your child doing what they’re doing?).
You do not necessarily need to ensure I can evaluate for something before reaching out; this is something I’m happy to consult with you about during a complimentary phone call or we can discuss in detail during an intake appointment.  I pride myself on providing high quality and useful reports for students and families. I aim to bridge the gap between families and schools to provide children with the most appropriate treatment across settings with respect and consideration for all parties.
Any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out.
Thanks,
