Dr. Julia Hollinger has many years of experience in evaluating students as a licensed school psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist. Dr. Hollinger specializes in conducting psychological, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational evaluations for children and adolescents. She often works with families who are looking for answers to a wide range of academic, socioemotional, and/or behavioral difficulties.  Dr. Hollinger has extensive experience assessing cognitive impairments.   Her work has focused on conducting comprehensive, individualized assessments in order to understand a student’s personal strengths and challenges and to offer specific recommendations for treatment.

Dr. Hollinger is a highly experienced school psychologist, having worked with individuals from preschool through college age.  She is well versed in educational procedures and policies, and enjoys assisting families navigate the special education process, which can be quite daunting.

In addition to assessments, Dr. Hollinger also has expertise in suicide prevention and intervention.  She is a longstanding member of the American Association of Suicidology and is certified through that organization as a Certified School Suicide Prevention Specialist.

Hi all,

I wanted to provide some additional details about what I typically evaluate for.  I’m a licensed school psychologist and can provide both DSM-5 diagnoses as well as IDEA (educational) diagnoses for children and teens.  Some common things I can evaluate for include:
