Dr. Virginia Martin, Psy.D.

I specialize in providing evaluations for children and adolescents and have been in practice for 18 years.  A primary specialty of mine is evaluation of children, teens and young adults ages 2-29 for Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental concerns. I have a passion for working with this community and helping children to access the services they need to fully succeed. I also provide diagnostic evaluations for children/adolescents with concerns such as Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Intellectual Disorder, behavioral concerns, and provide gifted testing. The evaluation process is thorough, personalized to your child, and takes place over three sessions. I enjoy collaborating with physicians, teachers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and behavior specialists – whoever may be on your child’s team and can provide insight. School or daycare observations are also available, if applicable. I believe that taking the time to truly get to know your child will allow me to better assess strengths and weaknesses. The evaluation is a collaborative and supportive process, and recommendations are always tailored to your child. After the evaluation process is complete, I remain available as a resource for you and your child.
